How Scanning Electron Microscope Works and Video

Jerie shows how scanning electron microscope works and describes the pieces and operation. She has many other interesting electronics videos. The resolution for this one goes to at least 100nm. The basic principle is an electron beam is targeted at a sample through a vacuum and as it hits the material light is generated and picked up by a photomultiplier. I find this kind of technology fascinating.
